The Meenakshi Temple is a complex temple which is situated in the city of Madurai. It is very huge and certainly a single which is very ancient in Maduraj is the most revered in India. The soaring and exquisitely which is carved towers which is enclose the temple and dedicated to Meenakashi temple in Madurai. The South gateway which is developed the same temple as just like other temple of Shiva and Meenakashi temple in Madurai. Although the exact day of the temple’s which is origin is not called, the structures that are waiting today date every between the 12th and the 18th century. The present temple was built in the 17th century A.D. by th Nayak rules. They occupy a vast space – 258 m by 241 m. The temple has the “pool of lilies”, Measuring 49.5 m by 36 m, surrounded by steps and has a pillared portico on hour of its sides. At every turn there is an excellent sculpture, overwhelming architecture and very beautiful nice carvings.
