Dagdusheth Halwai Ganapati Temple is a well-known temple in Pune, was constructed in 1893, devoted to God Ganesha-Ganapati. This temple is situated near from the Shaniwar Wada fort-historical place which was Peshwas’s Maratha empire-administrative headquarters.
A perfect form was given to the celebration of Ganapati(Ganesha) festival by Lokmanya Balgangadhar Tilak. He had started the celebration of Ganapati festival publicly and then this way it has become the all people’s festival actually.
