Shri Swaminarayan Mandir - Mumbai

Shri Swaminarayan Mandir is located in the area of Bhuteshwar, Mumbai, Maharastra, India. It is dedicated to Lord Swaminarayan and it is part of Swaminarayan Sampraday. This Hindu temple is the oldest approximately over a hundred years.

Shri Swaminarayan current temple has a tri-spire structure and the idols set up are that of Lord Laxminarayan, Hari Krishna Maharaj, Ghanshyam Maharaj, Gaulokvihari and Radha. This temple is Shikharband and comes under the Laxminarayan Dev Gadi (Vadtal). In Bhuleshwar, area there are so many temples and flowers are in high demands.

According to the history, in 1868, On Vaishakh Shukla Ekadashi, Ranchhoddas Pranjeevandas constructed the original ever “Shree Swaminarayan temple” in the city of Mumbai by cracking and renewing his own home. The deities of Gaulokvihari, Radhika and Hari Krishna Maharaj were established by Acharya Maharajshri Bhagwatprasadji Maharaj.
