Balaji Temple - Nerul

Balaji Temple that is replication of God Balaji at Tirupati, is located at Nerul, Navi Mumbai, Maharastra. Balaji Temple is located atop a small hummock near Nerul railway station west side. This temple has been built as per Shilpashastras and in the mode of Venkateshwara Temple at Tirupati.


Balaji Temple devoted to main deity Balaji including the other idols of Shree Ganesha, Narasimhar and Padbavathy Thayar and Anjaneyar in Yoga (sitting) posture. Temple of Balaji emphasizes the propinquity of the God and Devotee and the entirely surrender from jeevatma to Paramatma.

A "Bali Peetham" and the tall "Dhwaja Stambham" welcome the devotees when they take entry in the temple and after that some steps directs to the "Tiru Mamani Mandapam". The dimenstions in the entrance hall is same as at the temple of Tirupati. To guard the entrance of the sanctum, two doorkeepers are there in the form of Jaya-Vijaya.

Balaji Temple is very sacred place that one must visit once.
